Position: Jr. Python Developer

As one of Canada's fastest-growing software companies for the past 3 years, we are looking for passionate and dedicated Python Developers to join the R&D team and help to build the intelligent brain for all of our products.
As a member of the R&D team, you would be working in a cloud-based microservice ecosystem. Being a technology-focused company, we are looking for someone who loves learning and experimenting with new technology. We are also looking for someone who loves pushing themselves to achieve bigger and better things. We are a small company trying to do big things and every person counts.
Things you’ll be working on:

• Building data processing tools to help business team improve work efficiency

• Analyzing and organizing raw data

• Preparing data for prescriptive and predictive modeling

• Exploring ways to enhance data quality and reliability

• Helping the business make well-informed decisions

• Receiving mentorship and infinite opportunities to learn and grow

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or other similar major

• Strong coding skills in general-purpose programming languages e.g. Python, Java, Javascript

• Experience with SciPy packages e.g. Numpy, Pandas

• Experience with Jupyter Notebook

• Solid knowledge in Programming fundamentals, Mathematics, and Statistics

• Strong Web Scraping skill is a big plus
